Understanding that there are nowadays fewer major choreographic forms, the biennial project La Danse en grande forme was born from two main challenges: boosting the production of major choreographic forms and introducing them to new audiences.

The main objectives of La Danse en grande forme are to consolidate the economic model of choreographic creations that involve at least ten performers, offer substantial financial support for productions, and encourage the programming of these productions by all local stakeholders.
Currently, the collective brings together 14 certified organisations [1], from dance and multidisciplinary sectors, including CDCNs, CCNs and two national Stages, all committed to supporting choreographic art through ambitious dissemination and production projects. [2]
